Bettany? It was quite a flop in cinemas, but it still has a lot of fans and is a hit on the DVD market, so SyFy came up with the idea to make it into a TV show. The plot of the film revolved around God losing faith in humanity and sending his legion of angels to wipe out the human race for the second time. After that mankind's only hope lied in a group of misfits holed up in a diner in the desert who are aided by the archangel Michael who believes there is still something good among humans so he defies God and helps them defend from the legion of dark angels unleashed from heavens above.
